Thames Boat Trip May 2024
May 16, 2024

Our event in the summer was an unforgettable boat trip where we were lucky enough to have a Thames Clipper and an amazing tour guide from Open City. With about 50 people on the boat, including architects, planners, developers, and economists who have been part of the cultural reinvention and development of our great river.. It was an educational and enjoyable trip. From Blackfriars to Battersea, and it’s no wonder the Thames was described by John Burns as ‘liquid history’.

This was followed up in September with a fantastic seminar from xx at the GLA and XX on Creative Enterprise Zones as another force to be reckoned with in creating social capital through quality placemaking.
